From a young age, I accompanied my father, a mason, on construction sites. I climbed the roofs with him and put my hand in my paw. Working with my hands has always been a real source of happiness for me. When I was 15, I immediately knew what I wanted to do, to be a stonecutter and to do my apprenticeship with the companions of duty. A block of stone, for certain it is only a vulgar pebble but for me it is a whole. During 20 years, I learned to cut, shape, engrave and restore all types of stones. On the strength of my teaching with the companions of duty as well as subsequently with my company, I never cease to want to perpetuate my artisanal profession, to pass it on because it is this which gives me life and gives me the desire to get up in the morning.
